Tupping time and showering sheep

Nelson the Suffolk tup has been with the sheep for a couple of weeks now, the first 'batch' of sheep are tupped with a red mark and then last week we changed the marker to blue.   This is so we know when they should be due to lamb in mid February.   In late December we shall have them scanned again so we know which are expecting singles, twins and triplets/  There may be some quads again too!

The contractor came to shower the sheep today with a product to kill and prevent lice and ticks etc.  They stay in the shower three minutes and then are put to drain before being let back into the field.
