Finished Lambing

Our last sheep due lambed in the early hours, outside in the field.  She is just a hogg (a year old sheep) so this is her first lamb.  The lamb was up and about and had suckled his mums milk and was walking about with the others whilst we gave his mum her daily provin (sheep pellets).  He looked quite content in the sunshine this afternoon although he is staying close to his mum and not venturing to play and skip with the other lambs in his field.

The two pet lambs have been outside this afternoon, but go inside on a night.  They go out most days as they are enjoying eating grass and are getting weaned off the bottle.
