The sheep that are due to lamb the next few weeks have been brought inside.  The first lambs are due the first week in February.

The sheep are given provin (sheep nuts) twice a day and can eat either silo or hay as and when they want.   As the sheep lamb they are taken from the large group pens to individual pens with their lambs for a couple of days.  Once we know the lambs are feeding well etc they are put into larger pens with other sheep and lambs and then when they are strong enough they are put out into the fields, hopefully in sunny and dry weather!
